Nearly five decades of opening doors

1976The chamber is bornIncorporated by the State of Nevada as a nonprofit. The first event is held in May with keynote speaker Governor Mike O'Callaghan.

197650 businesses in five monthsWithin five months of launch, the Latin Chamber issues membership certificates to 50 Hispanic-owned businesses.

1980sBuilding Nevada's economyIn its first decade the LCC helps establish a Foreign Trade Zone at the Las Vegas airport, launches a job-training program, and connects high-school students to opportunity through Career Day.

2022Best of Las Vegas, GoldThe chamber's work is recognized with a Best of Las Vegas Gold award.

Today1,500+ members and growingThe LCC connects and serves more than 1,500 members of Nevada's business community.
